Welcome to Cannafair Düsseldorf! 23.-25. August 2024

Liebe Cannabis-Enthusiasten/-innen, liebe Unternehmer/-innen,

Cannafair 2019

Dear cannabis enthusiasts, dear entrepreneurs,

The cannabis industry in Germany has experienced a noticeable upswing in recent years, which has now finally been crowned with the decision to legalise cannabis. So these are the best times for a hemp trade fair in Germany, an internationally renowned trade fair location. Best chances, of course, for the fourth edition of the Cannafair in Düsseldorf.

The Cannafair 2024 will again be implemented by the same team as before because at least as important as the trade fair expertise is the specific industry knowledge of the team. With the successful work on the scene magazine Highway – Das Cannabismagazin the Cannafair team is firmly integrated into the cannabis industry and has gained an excellent reputation – now also with Cannafair – as reliable service providers.

Why Düsseldorf?

Why Düsseldorf? Germany is the largest country in Europe after Russia and Düsseldorf is the capital of the largest German state, NRW. Apart from London and Paris, there is no larger catchment area in Europe, with more than 30 million inhabitants living within a 150-kilometre radius. The proximity to the Netherlands, which does not have its own trade fair, is also perfect for a cannabis fair.

Not only is Düsseldorf the optimal location for a cannabis fair, but the venue’s location in the city itself is perfect: the Mitsubishi Electric Halle (known as the Philipshalle until it was renamed in 2011) is in the middle of the city, just five minutes from the main train station – and just 20 minutes from the airport. Located right next to the Volksgarten/Südpark green space (which we will again use for the communal exhibitor barbecue), the Mitsubishi Electric Halle offers plenty of space and has its own outdoor area. The hall’s own S-Bahn and U-Bahn (underground) stops ensure optimal connections for visitors and exhibitors.

The date at the end of August is, as the Cannafair has shown, the optimal date for hosting a new cannabis fair in Europe in general and in Germany in particular. In the exhibitor survey we conducted in the run-up to Cannafair, many companies were in favour of a date in the second half of August. And rightly so: there are no cannabis fairs taking place in the immediate vicinity. Also, none of the huge industrial fairs, some of which are held in Düsseldorf, are taking place, so hotels in perfect locations can be booked at the normal rate during this period.

In this sense: not only fair, but Cannafair!
